Segmentation of the Visible Human Project ® (VHP) Female Cryosection Images within MATLAB ® Environment

The subject of this study is triangular surface image segmentation within MATLAB environment. The goal has been an attempt to create a whole-body human phantom from the Visible Human Project® (VHP) dataset. The original result of this study is the mesh intersection algorithm for manifold tissue meshes based on a constrained 2D Delaunay triangulation in MATLAB. © 2014 The Authors.
