영상처리를 통한 팬터그래프-전차선로 동적 상하변위 추출 기술 개발

The pantograph-overhead contact line system is an interface that supplies power to high-speed trains used in many countries including Korea. To maintain safety this system must be installed strictly under international standards and current collection quality must be assessed to assure stability. Since sudden changes of height causes contact loss and deteriorates the pantograph-overhead contact line system, it is necessary to monitor dynamic height. Currently catenaries are being monitored by video cameras. Therefore in this paper, an image processing based method that calculates and draws graphs of a pantograph's longitudinal displacement is proposed. The developed system uses a video clip recorded from a camera attached to the roof of a train as the input and is post-processed using a computer. In addition, to inspect reliability, laboratory tests using a pantograph exciter was conducted.
