Design and construction of stripline for measuring electromagnetic immunity of vehicular electrical cables

A stripline for radiated susceptibility testing of vehicular components is designed and constructed. The stripline has the field uniformity of /spl plusmn/3 dB in the frequency range from 100 kHz to 500 MHz, and its characteristic impedance is 90 /spl Omega/. It has a high power capability by reason of using a tapered coaxial line instead of the traditional lumped circuit elements as the impedance matching unit.
