Research of intelligent building control using an agent-based approach

As multi-agent meets characteristics of distributed control architecture and lots of nodes in intelligent building, and the construction is expected to overcome existing problems as well. Introduce agent-based approach into intelligent building control is of great significance. We propose a model of intelligent building control system based on multi-agent which owns a pure distributed architecture. The different functions and different levels of agents in the model are described. At the same time, we discuss the intentional cooperation method used in intelligent building control through an example which was based on multi agent. Finally, we finish temperature and illumination control experiments on a Windows CE-based embedded platform.
