Filtering element and filter

The invention discloses a filtering element and a filter comprising the filtering element. The filtering element comprises filter cloth for bearing a filtering medium and an elongated supporting piece for supporting the filter cloth, wherein the interior of the supporting piece is of a hollow structure; the exterior of the supporting piece comprises at least three longitudinal extending ribs and a plurality of supporting parts vertically crossed with or obliquely crossed with the longitudinal extending ribs; the distance between the every two adjacent supporting parts is smaller than 20mm. According to the filtering element disclosed by the invention, the filtering medium can fall off easily, the filtering flow is stable, and the service lives of the filter cloth and the supporting piece are prolonged.
