MSM 스페리컬 받침의 지진시 극한거동 해석

Spherical bridge bearing is a preferable bridge bearing for railway bridge with large vertical load and rotation. Recently, new sliding material called MSM(Maura Sliding Material) were developed, which has a considerably higher life-time, double as high pressure in comparison with PTFE. This new sliding material results in spherical bridge bearing with smaller dimension than the existing one. In this study, the ultimate strength analysis of the spherical bridge bearing with small dimensions by incorporating MSM was performed and its safety was checked using three dimensional finite element.
