In order to investigate the applicability of dynamic ice slurry system for the district cooling, a experimental study of horizontal type ice maker was performed. Large scale of ice maker is necessary for the district cooling system. In this study, visualization experiments were performed to horizontal single tube for the understanding of the reality of the phenomenons. Ice slurry was occured when the supercooling was eliminated. Continuous production of ice slurry by the rotation of the screw removal and transport through the ice membrane.
