A Decentralized Architecture for SPARQL Query Processing and RDF Sharing: A Position Paper

In this position paper, we propose a decentralized architecture for publishing RDF. Unlike traditional client-server architectures, we propose a peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture for SPARQL query processing and RDF knowledge sharing. We present a general architecture and its key problems. Further, we discuss its potential with respect to solving the availability and performance issues that for a long time have been prevailing on existing infrastructures.
