A literature based study provides the aspects which are relevant for the success of New Media services. These aspects can be used as a basis of a list which can be used by service providers and developers to identify the factors being relevant for the acceptance and competence in the case of Media Services being planned or in use. It can be shown that the multiplicity of parameters can be used to create a dynamic frame work. It is not probable that a "hitlist" of success factors can be identified which is in general and from a long term perspective reliable.
