Pulverization Characteristics and Pulverizing of Waste Printed Circuit Boards(Printed Wiring Boards) Based on Resource Utilization

Besed on the analysis of the material mechanical property of waste printed circuit boards(PCBs) and printed wiring boards(PWBs) and comparsion with other crashers,a shearing machine and a hammer grinder were combined to pulverize the waste boards.The analysis on the force for hammer grinder was presented,and the technological parameters of hammer grinder were defined.The effects of this pulverization mode on particle size distribution,liberation degree and grain shapes were researched.The results indicate that this pulverization mode is available for scrap PCBs and PWBs.The metal and nonmetal on the PCBs and PWBs can be liberated availably.It can be liberated completely when the size of waste PCBs scraps is below (1.2 mm.) The factory discarded single sided PWBs can be liberated completely just under(0.6 mm.) The pulverization mechanism was discussed and analyzed. Applying area pulverization mechanism,an empirical formula of energy consume was attained.
