Simulating the Effect of Computer Application on Office Practice

The introduction of computer based information systems exerts multiple effects on various aspects of a given environment. It is the task of the systems engineer to control this dynamic and complex situtation somehow in order to arrive at an optimal solution. (Mohr 1980) To this end, it is necessary to assess the beha- viour of the entire system as comprehensively as possible and to select appro- priate measures to affect it.
