Design and application of simulation for controllable pitch propeller hydraulic servo system

In order to solve the problems that hydraulic servo system of the controllable pitch propeller is limited by the environment in actual trainings and high maintenance costs, on the basis of process simulation support platform, a hydraulic servo software simulation system of the controllable pitch propeller will be developed. Firstly, mathematical models of hydraulic system pipe network, pump valve, hydraulic cylinder, cooler, and the propeller pitch actuator will be established; secondly, the simulation of the system logic control interface will be realized by VC++ programming technique; finally, the software simulation system will be provided with the whole operating functions of hydraulic system of the controllable pitch propeller and simulate the malfunctions in real ship to make assessments intelligently. It could simulate the malfunctions in real ship system and be useful in the education and training of mariners.
