Controlling the dynamic instability of three-level atoms inside an optical ring cavity

Dynamic instability in the transmission field of an optical ring cavity containing three-level L-type rubidium atoms is studied in detail both experimentally and theoretically. A generalized theoretical model is developed to describe the full dynamics of such system and good agreement was obtained between the theoretical calculations and experimental observations.
