A Nonlinear Optimal Control of SVC Based on Structure-Preserving Model

In this paper,for the SVC damping effect is dependent on load characteristics,a structure-preserving feedback linearization approach based on power system structure-preserving model is proposed.A feedback standard form is derived when the relative degree of the system equals the system state variables dimension and certain designated conditions are satisfied.Then the proposed approach is applied to design of non-linear supplementary controller for a two-generator power system with SVC by taking full account of power loads and bus voltage influence in SVC supplementary control,a new supplementary control strategy is derived.The simulation results show the proposed control strategy can not only improve the performance of interconnection dynamic stability,but also enhance the operation stability of voltage.
