Optical filter based electrical control vis-à-vis cloud data: A new hybrid optoelectronics device for embedded application

Abstract A new-fangled optoelectronic device is suggested in present manuscript to control electrical appliances with the help of optical filtering and switching action, pertaining to the signal of 1538 nm, 1548 nm and 1551 nm where, the principle of filtering action is based on reflectance characteristics and the theory of switching action is rooted in Arduino based Proteus simulation which is used to check the entire hardware to realize the controlling action. Further, plane wave expansion technique is employed here to analyze the reflectance characteristics of photonic based filter where, Arduino development board is deployed for hardware interfacing between Matlab and real world. Finally, the aforementioned filtering information manifested in cloud server for the sake of wide dissemination of aforesaid data, which leads to many embedded application.
