Electrophysiological responses of chemosensitive sensilla in the wolf spider.

Electrophysiological recordings from single, open-pored sensilla on the pedipalps of intact wolf spiders confirm the presence of numerous chemosensory neural units in the sensilla. The presence of one or two mechanosensory neurons in these sensilla is also confirmed.
