Adaptive Motion Planning Approaches for Small UAV Flight

Small UAVs face challenges when navigating complex terrain such as urban or jungle environments. Wind gusts and cluttered surroundings work against the lower speeds, small power sources and limited sensing capabilities of these air vehicles. Developing efficient algorithms for trajectory planning will result in optimized navigation methods to enable small UAVs to operate in complex spaces. Adaptive Motion Planning can produce an agile, small UAV able to traverse close urban or jungle environments.
