An MAC protocol with high throughput and low packet delay for OFDMA PONs

An efficient MAC protocol has been proposed for OFDMA PONs. Simulation results illustrate the proposed MAC protocol obtains higher throughput performance and large network capacity, reduces average packer delay and improves the bandwidth utilization efficiency.
