Cubic N(CH2CH2NH3)3Br3 crystal – a novel non-centrosymmetric organic material for Raman laser converters with large frequency shift

We have opened up new nonlinear-laser potential in cubic crystal N(CH2CH2NH3)3Br3(``tren''⋅3HBr). Under picosecond laser pumping high-order steady-state stimulated Raman scattering with large frequency shift ≈ 2965 cm-1 in this novel χ(3)-active organic material was recorded and preliminary characterized.
