Modeling and Simulation of Railway Network in Compliance with Technical Specifications for Interoperability

This study aims to the realization of an equivalent model of the electric traction network of Milan, so that the model can be used to evaluate the short circuit currents which can arise in all the traction power substations which supply the entire Ferrovienord railway network. Furthermore, to prove that the operation of the system complies with the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI), the calculation of pantograph voltages in significant points of the network is performed.
