Research on Personalized Recommendation for Mass Customisation

The characteristics of personalized recommendation for mass customisation are analysed and a model of the re-commendation based on association rule mining is proposed. The association rules indicate the relationship between cus-tomer attributes and product attributes. The definition of strong association rules is proposed, procedure based on strong association rules mining is presented specially for this application. An illustrative example with the well-known MovieL-ens dataset is given to demonstrate the proposed method.
