Flexible Bitrate Systems for Long Haul Transmission

Flexible bitrate systems basing on pragmatic QAM, hybrid formats and probabilistic shaped formats. We show that a combined symbol rate — spectral efficiency adaptation allows for highest flexible adaptation of reach, bitrate and spectral efficiency.
