Finite element analysis on the bending stress for roller spur bevel gear based on ANSYS

The precise model for the roller spur bevel gear is built up in the software Catia.Taking(advantage) of the data interface between the Catia and ANSYS,we put the model into the ANSYS.By means of finite element method((FEM)),the bending stress of the gear tooth is analyzed with finite(element) method((FEM)).The results may offer some theoretical basis for the design of roller spur bevel gear.
