In this article, we present the study of the stator power control of a DFIG used for the conversion of wind energy. The proposed control method uses a linear controller based on vector control with directed stator flow, and a nonlinear controller based on the technique of the slipping mode. The objective is to eliminate the instantaneous errors of the active and the reactive powers with an acceptable dynamics of the system. The principle of the two methods is presented in this document. First, we present a model of the turbine and the DFIG, and then a synthesis of the two control strategies. Simulation results with a 300 KW DFIG are supplied with the MATLAB / Simulink software.
