Wireless communication using acoustic signal

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for wireless communication using an acoustic signal are provided to reduce pairing time and improve user convenience and functionality while enhancing the security of a wireless communication link between devices. CONSTITUTION: A method for wireless communication using an acoustic signal comprises the steps of: generating wireless communication information; converting the wireless communication information to an acoustic signal; transmitting the acoustic signal to the second device through the loudspeaker by the first device; receiving the acoustic signal through the microphone; extracting the wireless communication information from the acoustic signal; generating an acknowledgment signal according to the extracted wireless communication information; and transmitting the acknowledgment signal to the first device on a wireless communication channel by the second device.
