Research on Fatigue Life of Turnout Outside Locking Device

Railway turnout switching equipment is an important equipment to ensure the safety of railway operation. When a vehicle passes the turnout, the turnout switching equipment will be subjected to the impact from the change for wheel-rail coupling effect. Therefore, fatigue damage will be caused to the switching equipment when vehicles pass the turnout continuously. In this paper, a typical high-speed turnout outside locking device with vehicle passing speed of 350km / h is taken as research object, and the numerical analysis method and finite element method are used to analyze the stress of the critical structure parts of the outside locking device under continuous vehicle passing, and to analyze the fatigue life of critical structural parts, obtaining the fatigue life distribution of the critical structural parts of the turnout outside locking device.
