Numerical simulation of material properties and structural parameters' effects on pressure drop of the cyclone separator

Pressure drop of the cyclone separator is an important parameter,which evaluates its performance and relates to energy consumption of the separation system and rational choices of fans.Through experimental data verification,this paper s numerically simulates pressure drop of the cyclone separator by RSM turbulence model in Fluent software,and obtains effects of material density,viscosity and diameter of the separator on pressure drop.
