Flexible display device and method for manufacturing the same

Provided are a flexible display device and a method for manufacturing a flexible display device. The flexible display device comprises a first flexible substrate comprising a display area including an organic light emitting layer and a peripheral circuit area; and a second flexible substrate contacted with the first flexible substrate and comprising a pattern which makes bending easy, wherein the second flexible substrate has a specific shape according to a pattern and the first flexible substrate has a shape corresponding to the specific shape. According to various embodiments of the present invention, provided are a flexible display device for providing a narrow bezel or a bezel-free display device, while providing an advanced form of design, making the bending of a bezel region easy, and minimizing the damage on the bent region, and a method for manufacturing the flexible display device.
