Research for the Hydraulic Walking System of the Asphalt Paver Based on Chaos Optimization of PID Parameters

The walking hydraulic system of asphalt and concrete paver is a time-varying,nonlinear and complicated system.There are shortages of the traditional PID parameters tuning methods,for example,it is hard to tune and consumes more time or leads to big oscillation and overshoot.A PID parameters-tuning method based on chaos optimization is proposed to solve problems listed above.Using MATLAB software,simulation and analysis were carried out.Simulation results show that the proposed method has many advantages,such as,much stable,small overshoot,fast response,simpie structure,easy for computer programming.
