Pre-processing of Data in ISAR Imaging

In ISAR imaging,the data for imaging is always being selected sequentially from radar echo data and the azimuth resolution and imaging quality is controlled by experience.Due to the non-cooperation of target,it is difficult to get a uniform azimuth resolution,and also optimal result in imaging quality and efficiency can not be got.So it is important to process the received data before using them for imaging.In this paper,a method that can process received data and let them automatically reach the required azimuth resolution is proposed.Then according to the quality of the data,smooth imaging algorithm or maneuvering target imaging algorithm will be chosen automatically to get the target image.Simulation results show that,through pre-processing the imaging efficiency and quality both are greatly improved.
