Stability Criterion of 2‐D Positive Systems with Unbounded Delays Described by Roesser Model

This paper addresses the asymptotic stability issue of two-dimensional (2-D) positive systems with delays described by the Roesser model. The delays are time-varying and may be unbounded. A necessary and sufficient stability condition is established, which determines if the considered system is asymptotically stable for all delays satisfying a sector bound constraint. The result is formulated as a linear programming problem and is hence computationally friendly. An example illustrates the theoretical result.
