In this study we present (1) the total incidence of endometrial carcinoma in Louisville-Jefferson County, Kentucky, for a 10-year period, 1953 through 1962, and (2) the extent to which the ratio of cervical to endometrial carcinoma is affected by age, race and socioeconomic status. During this period a total of 434 endometrial carcinomas occurred among an average of 192,331 women 20 years of age and older.
