Estimation of the Parameters of the Multiple LFM Signals Based on H_∞ Filter

In case of less sample data for the multiple linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals, the multiple LFM signals are decomposed into a few of the single LFM signal by time-space rotational techniques. Based on the better transient and robust performance of the finite-horizon H_∞ filter, the parameter of each single LFM signal is estimated in case of the unknown noise. Because of adopting H_∞ square-root algorithm for H_∞ filter, this algorithm is numerically more stable than conventional ones. Simulations are presented to show the capabilities of this parameter estimate algorithm.
