Electronic device and method for forming thereof

Disclosed is an electronic device which includes an external housing. A part of the external housing includes: a base which includes a nonconductive material; and multiple islands which are formed on or above the base. The multiple islands include a metallic material, are separated from each other, and are able to form a two-dimensional pattern. A method to manufacture the disclosed external housing of the electronic device also includes the following steps of: injecting and molding the base; and forming the multiple islands which are formed on or above the base, are separated from each other, form a two-dimensional pattern, and include a metal material.
