Predictive assessment of priority pollutant bio-oxidation kinetics in activated sludge

Bacterial population densities and enzyme activities were measured in activated sludge to serve as predictive tools for assessing bio-oxidation of organic pollutants. Phenol, toluene and aniline were the primary test pollutants used in the investigation. 14 references, 11 figures, 9 tables.
