Smart logistics vehicle management system based on internet of vehicles

With revolutionary increase in number of internet connected devices, a pervasive network has been formed that enables these devices to communicate and exchange data with each other. This network is known as Internet of Things. With more advancements in field of wireless sensor networks, now we see traditional vehicles as smart vehicles having capability to interact with other connected vehicles as well as other connected objects within the network; and is called Internet of Vehicles (IoV). Indian economic sector of small and medium scale industries relies very much on road transportation. Also with boom in e-commerce and rapid growth of logistics market, a well-managed logistics vehicle system can do wonders for such small scale industries. In this paper, we present a smart logistics vehicle management system based upon Internet of Vehicles.
