Co-fired piezoelectric multilayer transformers

The advantages of multilayer piezoelectric transformers (MLTs) over wire-wound types are described. The applicability of MLTs is shown for LCD-backlight, including the voltage transformation and the power characteristics. Attention is paid to modelling and designing of these products.
