Saturation performance metrics of the IEEE 802.11 MAC

Under more realistic assumptions, we propose an improved analytical model to derive saturation throughput, saturation delay, frame-dropping probability, frame-dropping time, and number of retransmissions in this paper. These performance metrics have been studied over different parameters.
