Design of Railway Express Transportation Products with Dedicated Lines for Passenger and Cargo Transportation

The paper uses the graph theory to develop the railway express transportation network and formulates a network flow based mathematical model to get the optimum result,which with given transportation budget purports to meet the freight demand to the maximum and effectively reduce the delivery time of the goods.It then solves the model using well-developed mathematical programming software and tests the validity of the model and algorithm in a numerical example.
