Diverse PRI Pulse Trains
暂无分享,去创建一个
This chapter gives examples of pulse repetition interval (PRI) diversity in the form of a pulse to pulse PRI staggering, usually found in MTI (moving target indication) radars, and batch to batch PRI diversity in the form of a MPRF (medium pulse repletion interval) radar. The fundamentals of MTI processing are described, together with important tools for analyzing MTI radar performance (Sub-clutter visibility, MTI improvement factor etc.). The concept of target visibility, blind speed, range eclipsing etc., are demonstrated and the use of PRF staggering for increasing the minimal blind speed is shown. Solving range-Doppler ambiguities in medium PRF burst radar (using the Chinese reminder theorem or range-Doppler unfolding) is described. Medium PRF selection methods, including the ?>major-minor ?>, ?> M -out-of- N ?> and other methods are shown.
