The invention relates to an on-line monitoring method for a secondary circuit. A link detection module of an intelligent device in a process layer is adopted, the module is used for converting the traditional AC input into digital quantity sampling value transmission based on optical fiber communication and converting a trip input and output circuit into a digitized signal transmission mode based on GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) communication, so that the states of sampling transmission and real-time signal interaction are monitored in real time, and the circuit is effectively monitored; and the link detection of the intelligent device in the process layer comprises physical link detection and application link detection. In addition, an expert system module and a visualized secondary circuit monitoring module in a substation integrated automatic system are also adopted; the substation integrated automatic system automatically creates a GOOSE list according to the GOOSE link relation among different devices. During the creation of the list, a user is allowed to perform personalized configurations according to actual demands. The personalized configurations are carried out on the GOOSE link list for displaying specific devices, the shape and the color of a stationary icon for displaying GOOSE single network or double network and GOOSE on or off, the flashing color of GOOSE state change and the sound of warning.
