The Presence Of End-User Computing In Small Business: An Exploratory Investigation Of Its Distinguishing Organizational And Information Systems Context

AbstractThis study aims to explore various characteristics of the organizational and information systems context which potentially distinguish between small businesses where end-user computing is present and those where it is not. Based on data obtained in 34 small manufacturing firms, the results indicate that certain contextual characteristics are in fact significantly related to the presence of end-user computing in these organizations.
