A Study on Reforming the 4# Digital Controlled Grinder at 1700 Line,Warmwalzwerk,Benxi steel

In order to adapt to the requirement of automatization,continuation and high precision for steel production,the operated rolls must be ground to the surface error of roll profile with μm grade.Taking the 4# digital controlled grinder at 1700 line as example,the paper introduces the technical reforming in electrical system.As a result,the surface error of roll profile are less than ± 10μ,the grinding efficiency is enhanced more than 30%.
