Production Practice on X65M Pipeline Steel

In the paper,it is elaborated the difficulties for manufacturing the steel for oil and natural gas transportation with the existing technological condition of the company as well as the corresponding measures are developed to manufacture the qualified continuous casting slab. The surface inspection and macroscopic etching test show that the surface quality of casting blank is fine as well as the rate of center segregation Class B and center porosity not greater than 2.0 grade is100%. The feedback of users is that the service condition is good and the quality is stable.
