ENERGI MATAHARI ( PHOTOVOLTAIC )

Utilization of photovoltaic systems to obtain electrical energy by using photovoltaic systems. Photovoltaic system is a module that is used to absorb heat that is exposed to sunlight which is converted into electrical energy. The purpose of this research is the use of modules (solar panels) with a capacity of 100 wp that can absorb heat which is converted into electrical energy of 100 watts/hour which is later expected to be a substitute for conventional electricity which will be used for the refining process. The treatment was carried out by varying the distillation time of agarwood oil in 3 hours, 4.5 hours and 6 hours and the immersion time of raw materials also varied in 14 days, 16 days, 18 days and 20 days. Testing of distilled patchouli oil using a solar cell using the photovoltaic method for compound analysis using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) chemical compounds identified as having the largest % area were gualiol which was 52.75%, selinene was 17.80% and panasinsen that is equal to 5.90%. Immersion for 18 days with an operating time of 6 hours. Meanwhile, in testing the density of agarwood oil, the highest value was obtained at the distillation time of 3 hours with a soaking time of 16 days, which was 0.8894 kg/cm 3 . The distillation time affects the specific gravity of the oil, the longer the distillation process, the higher the specific gravity obtained.
