Fast active inrush current limiter for boost-based resistor emulators

A simple active circuit limiting the input current of boost switching cells during the turn-on and also in the case of short input-voltage interruptions is described. The limiter is connected in series with the boost storage capacitor. Different aspects of this approach are discussed and the performance that can be realized is compared to the presently known solutions.<<ETX>>
