Thisresearch attempted toexplore thedepth ofthe MobileCommerceTechnologies (MCT)phenomenon insmall tomedium-sized enterprises (SMEs)inNew Zealand (NZ). Despite thereported enthusiasm for MCT anditsadvantages andthelimited complexities andincompatibilities, theuse oftheMCT didnot exceed thevoiceandSMS-based applications. The results also portray a vague picture about thefuture of MCT inNZ SMEs.Theresearch discusses certain accelerators andinhibitors thatwouldimpactthe depth oftheMCT inNZSMEs.
