CGM and CGI

A value of abstract indicates that the implementation can treat the widths specified as relative values and can normalize them to any suitable widths that maintain the approximate ratios specified for lines and gaps. A value of VDC means that the hatching transforms with segment tranform and anisotropic tranforms (as if the hatching were made up of DISJOINT POLYLINE elements); otherwise, the hatching is like "wallpaper" that shows through a polygon-shaped hole--everything is specified in device units and hatching is done in device space. The angle parameter is specified as the x and y components of a vector. The angle is measured between the positive x -axis of the appropriate coordinate system and the vector provided.
