Optical link performance monitoring using extended link management protocol for transparent optical networks

We successfully demonstrated intelligent link performance monitoring using extended link management protocol (LMP) in the all-optical network testbed. Multiple link parameters could be dynamically monitored via the GMPLS control plane.
