Investigating the non-covalent interaction of cytidylic acids, with Ribonuclease A by electrospray mass spectrometry

Electrospray mass spectrometry has been applied to probe the binding of 2′-CMP,3′-CMP and 2′3′-CMP to RNaseA. Results show that, in the presence of excess amounts of these molecules, binding also appears to occur at a secondary site on the enzyme.
